Greek Yogurt Baked Donuts

Ingredients: ½ cup 0% plain Greek yogurt 1 large egg ½ teaspoon vanilla extract ¼ cup vegetable oil (I used Saflower) ½ cup sugar 1 cup flour (I used King Arthur Whole White Wheat) ½ teaspoon baking soda ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg ¼ teaspoon salt

For The Glaze: 1¼ cups powdered sugar ¼ cup milk (I used Almond Milk) ¼ teaspoon vanilla

Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease donut pan with cooking spray. 2. Whisk together the Greek yogurt, egg, vanilla, oil, and sugar in a bowl. 3. Add flour, soda, salt, and nutmeg. Stir together until well combined. 4. Fill donut pan with batter and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the top is springy to the touch and the sides are turning golden brown.

5. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack for 10 minutes.

For the Glaze:

1. In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and milk together. Glaze should be thin so you can easily dip the donuts to glaze them. 2. Once the donuts have cooled down a bit dip the donuts into the glaze. I only dipped one side, but you could get crazy and dip both. Let them dry on a sheet of wax paper.
